TAFE NSW Taree – Blocks J & K

About the project

MBR Air Conditioning and MBR Electrical delivered the mechanical and electrical packages for the refurbishment of Blocks J and K at TAFE NSW Taree – home to the campus’s hairdressing and beauty training rooms – working with Edge Construction.

Because hair and beauty treatments produce chemical fumes, the mechanical design held the training rooms at a negative pressure of around -5 Pa to keep fumes contained, using air conditioning, heat exchangers and exhaust fans balanced to work together.
